Our Food

Live Fire Cookery & Craft BBQ…

Our approach to our food is simple… source high quality, local ingredients. Cook them with passion, care and attention. Be creative. Be consistent, and have fun.

We’re inspired by traditional flavours and BBQ techniques, and like to change our menus with the seasons while championing the very best local produce available to us, sourcing as much as possible from Pembrokeshire alone.

Whether its a multi course wedding or fast paced food festival or pop up, each menu is unique and centred around our wood fired stoves & smokers using the traditional methods of open fire cookery and low and slow BBQ.

Our kit & techniques

500 gallon offset - smoker

Our pride and joy… a 500gallon offset smoker, that runs on wood & charcoal alone, guaranteeing an incredible smoke profile, and is the perfect kit for low and slow BBQ. Custom built right here in the U.K by Jason at Ironbrand Smokers, fabricators of premium quality offset smokers & live fire cookery kit.

Built from a reclaimed propane tank in true Texas style, our pit is mounted onto a custom built, all terrain trailer chassis making it the ultimate, mobile, go anywhere smoker.

This smoker has allowed us to massively vary what we offer not only in terms of volume, but also a different cooking style from other kit we have. We are learning every time we fire her up, and that is what makes it so exciting.

iconic South American - ASADO

A traditional and iconic South American style of cookery that involves cooking large and often whole animals slowly over an open fire, while bound to a metal cross. When we started Feast, we got in touch with Tom at Firemade, who supplied us with our first asado pit. This was the first open fire cookery kit we had ever used, and have learned our craft by cooking countless whole Pembrokeshire lambs, regularly cooking 3 or 4 lambs at once, along with so much more over the last few years. Its all about dedication, patience, fire management and great meat. Cooking asado is probably the most rewarding style of cookery we’ve ever done, and we will never grow tired of creating such show stopping theatrical cooks on this kit.

COOKING OVER fire - OPEN FIRE GRILL

A super versatile way of cooking over fire. We often grill things at higher temperatures on these frames, such as steaks or smaller cuts of meat, but the fully height-adjustable grills and pits make the possibilities endless. We regularly hang vegetables and fruits above the coals, cook directly in the coals, cook on smaller grills or griddle plates, and make all of our fresh flatbreads on these grills. An absolute must have for open fire cookery…
